I’m passionate about creating a technology that will have a real impact on the health and well-being of the people that have access to it. Healthy Seating Technology™ was created out of a need to reduce the harmful effects of sitting and support a healthier lifestyle.

Biography

Paul has an extensive 33-year background in private practice, specializing in performance biomechanics, and is the pioneering inventor behind Healthy Seating Technology™. Over the last 15 years, he has spearheaded the research and development efforts at CMG, leading to the innovative integration of their seating technology across the automotive, trucking, and aerospace sectors.

Paul’s work has been foundational in developing and advocating the concept of motion seating, highlighting its significant benefits on human structural health through research and educational initiatives. He collaborates intimately with the engineering teams and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to craft and refine motion algorithms, ensuring the technology meets its health and safety objectives for each seating application.

His journey into human performance biomechanics started with his work with professional athletes from various sports, including football, basketball, tennis, ballet, and racing. Through this, Paul gained insights into creating structural balance and enhancing physical stability, which he later channeled into the development of “motion seating” solutions to combat the detrimental effects of prolonged sitting.

Driven by a commitment to enhance people’s health and well-being, Paul’s vision for Healthy Seating Technology™ emerged from a deep-seated desire to alleviate the negative consequences of sedentary lifestyles and foster a healthier, more dynamic way of living.
